Buddha in meditation with gesture of Dharmachakra Mudra
In this meditation gesture, the tip of the middle finger of one hand touches the tips of the thumb and index finger of the other hand, forming the circle of Dharma at the level of the heart. This gesture represents the movement of the Dharma wheel. After Buddha attained enlightenment, he gave his teaching to a companion in the park of Sarnath. Thus, this gesture represents the teaching.
