Stylish incense with traditional symbols of Japan
These decorative incense plates made of ceramic can be used for both incense sticks and incense cones. Their design picks up on symbols of Japanese culture and was created by Nippon Kodo, the more than 400-year-old traditional house for Japanese incense.
The beautiful stylised chrysanthemum on the incense plate symbolises immortality in the Japanese culture and has the status of a national flower there. The significance of this flower is also evident in the fact that the Japanese imperial house is called the "Chrysanthemum Throne".
The beautiful motif makes incense burning an experience for all the senses right from the start. Thanks to the smooth surface, the smoking plate can be easily and simply cleaned of ash.
Practical: The incense holder is not fixed in the plate and can be removed completely if necessary. It is best suited for shorter sticks (13-15 cm).
