Why this Singing Bowl is Ideal for You
The Japanese SHOMYO Singing Bowl is your companion for moments of mindfulness and inner peace. Its unique design, with a slightly rounded shape, a decorative groove, and an elegant black lacquer finish that allows the metal to shine through, creates an attractive bronze-like effect.
Its sound profile is named after the traditional Buddhist ritual chants in Japan. Its soft, long-lasting tone with beautifully vibrating overtones is a true delight for the soul. It is ideal for anyone who loves long-reverberating sounds and is looking for harmonious support in their meditation.
Each singing bowl is a true work of art, crafted according to old family tradition. It is typical for Japanese singing bowls that their sound is not left to chance—each bowl sounds exactly like the next, which stands for the highest quality and precision.
A special highlight: In sizes 107 and 120 mm, the SHOMYO singing bowl fits perfectly on the Dayasa singing bowl clock. This allows you to wake up gently to a harmonious tone and perfect your meditation practice.

Scope of Supply
- A size matching brocade pillow filled with kapok. These cushions are intricately crafted and are a great visual match for the Japanese singing bowls. When playing the bowl, they provide good support.
If possible, we fulfill your color request, otherwise the selection is random and subject to availability. - A small black wood mallet made of oak wood. This mallet is quite simple work and produces a hard, high and rather unpleasant sound for Western ears. We therefore recommend taking a beautifully shaped and stylish red-lacquer-leather mallet, which produces a somewhat softer sound (see sound sample). If you value a stylish look, then the original Japanese mallet made of fine black ebony is also an alternative.
