Japanese temple bell DAITOKUJI with cushion and red lacquer mallet

Japanese temple bells are a noble appearance with their black matte surface. Their beauty is particularly well accentuated on a colored singing bowl cushion.

The DAITOKUJI temple bells are driven from the metal with hammer blows, not turned from a solid piece of metal. Their shell walls are relatively thin and become much thicker toward the rim of the shell.

Temple bells sound most beautiful when struck with a padded mallet - rubbing with a clapper is less recommended and proves difficult. Their bulbous shape requires gives it a warm, soft and bell-like sound, which is well suited for meditation and therapeutic applications.

Singing Bowls are still made in Japan according to old family tradition. The composition of the metals and the achievement of high sound quality are secret. Typically, the sound is not left to chance, but each Singing Bowl sounds like the other! Japanese Singing Bowls are ideal for those who value the highest quality and long-lasting sound.

The DAITOKUJI corresponds to the Chinese temple bell, which, however, which is supplied with a simple cushion and leather mallet. Sonically, there is no difference here!
