Kalimba with warm tone and excellent resonance properties
The kalimba with 21 rosewood tongues is a high-quality musical instrument that is suitable for both beginners and experienced players. Thanks to the sound hole, the kalimba offers a clear and precise sound with a full tone that will delight every listener. The rosewood also ensures a warm and pleasant tone. The special feature lies in the excellent resonance properties of the hollow body of this kalimba compared to models with a solid wood block. This makes the sound last longer and sound more spherical. The vibrations produced within the body also make the tone sound slightly softer than the direct, clear sound of a solid wood block instrument.
Each tongue of the kalimba is engraved with a note marking and can produce different sounds by gently striking it with the thumb. The sound is factory tuned to A-440 Hz, but can also be tuned to 432 Hz using the included tuning hammer.
