The Kalimba B15 is handcrafted from solid American cherry (black cherry). To protect the wood, it is then treated with waxes and vegetable oils.
The 15 tongues of the kalimba are factory tuned in G major, allowing for extensive accompaniment of melodies. The lower range consists of larger sounding tongues that allow a full tone across the entire sound spectrum and can be easily reached even with smaller hands.
