This carefully selected mallet set is suitable for all metal singing bowls between 400g and 2.500g in weight.
Our mallet set includes a selection of high-quality mallets that are specially designed to play different singing bowls. The different sizes, shapes and materials of the bowls allow for a wide range of sounds, from gentle tones to powerful resonances. They are therefore part of the basic equipment of every professional singing bowl application, which includes both the rubbing of bowls as well as gentle and powerful playing, allowing you to experience the full sound spectrum of the bowls.
For beginners, this set offers an easy and accessible way to learn the basics of chime. The well-balanced mallets and rubbers make it easy to play the singing bowls and allow for an intuitive experience while exploring a variety of sounds.
This set consists of:
- Small bowl with hard felt head: Particularly suitable for small singing bowls up to 500g. The hard felt head allows a softer response than with leather bowls, resulting in a long-lasting and full sound.
- Leather mallet 16 cm: Suitable for smaller bowls up to approx. 600g, both for striking and for rubbing the bowls. 16 cm long, 2 cm in diameter.
- Medium sized grating paddle 20 cm: Shaped grating paddle for medium bowls up to 1,500g. For grating and whipping. 4.2 cm diameter
- Medium felt bowl: Suitable for striking medium-sized singing bowls in the 800-1,300g range. The soft felt head produces a pleasant full tone over the entire sound spectrum of the bowl. Diameter 4.5 cm
- large felt mallet: Like the medium felt mallet, but with a larger head diameter, suitable for bowls weighing from 1,300g to approx. 2.500g. Diameter 5.5 cm.Â
