The planet Jupiter has a solar orbital period of just under 12 years. After 36-fold octave scaling, its frequency in the audible range is 183.58 Hz, which corresponds to the tone F#. Based on this frequency, the chime is tuned.
Planetary tones have a profound effect on people and represent a primal contact with the protection . The Jupiter tone is assigned to the crown of the head and is often used in sound therapy in this area.
All wooden parts are carefully oiled and waxed and processed mainly from alder. The natural drop shape of the pendulum contributes to the harmonious design. The Surface of the Aluminum Tubes is anodized.

Background:
For over 20 years, the percussionist and "Klangwerker" Alex Resch is concerned with scales, harmonies, nature and planetary tones. His knowledge that harmony and sound have a balancing effect and enrich our lives, he translates into the construction of chimes, objects for sound experience and other "exotic" instruments.
Every chime that leaves his Hand is tuned to be purely intervallic. High-precision measuring devices enable the lowest tolerances to be maintained. Sophisticated harmonies very strongly intensify the effectiveness of the sounds and stimulate the brain in a special way.
He sets high standards for the chimes he makes, which must be well crafted. The appearance must be right, but sound and tuning have top priority. That is why he uses aluminum alloy bars, which he has specially manufactured. The wooden parts are made without exception from local wood and treated only with biological oils and waxes.
