This hand-forged singing bowl from Nepal sounds with the planet tone of the earth - Om tone (= year tone). The frequency of the OM tone is derived from the duration of time that the earth needs to circle the sun once (earth year). After 32-fold octavation, its frequency in the audible range is 136.10 Hz, which corresponds to the tone C-sharp.
