This hand-forged singing bowl sounds with the planetary tone of Neptune. After being octavated 40 times, its frequency in the audible range is 211.44 Hz, which corresponds to the tone G#. Neptune has a solar orbital period of about 164 years. It lasts about twice as long as that of Uranus. Harmonically seen Neptune is therefore a lower octave of Uranus.
Planetary tones exert a deep effect on humans and represent a primal contact with creation. The Neptune tone is assigned to the area from the feet to the coccyx and is often used in singing bowl therapy in this area.
