Singing Bowl Orissa, Mandala Antique, Cast

The Orissa singing bowl is made of a special metal alloy (bronze), the antique-colored surface of which has been decorated by hand with Buddhist symbols of good luck.

Orissa singing bowls are traditionally handmade by family businesses in Nepal and northern India. Its name comes from the Indian region of Orissa, where singing bowls with raised rims were predominantly produced. Singing bowls with this appearance are therefore called Orissa singing bowls.

Minor irregularities in the surface and deviations in the dimensions are not defects, but an expression of the craft manufacturing process. The bowl is supplied without mallets and cushions.

This distinguishes the beautiful Orissa Singing Bowl:

  • Rich, intricate decorations
  • It is an affordable singing bowl for beginners or for working with children
  • The cast-iron manufacturing process makes the surface pleasantly smooth and even, unlike beaten singing bowls
  • Premium quality: bronze instead of brass

Therefore, a deviation in the sound of the singing bowl sent to you from the sound samples you can hear here is not a defect.
