A ritual instrument from Buddhism

The meaning of the bell

In Tibetan Buddhism, the soft-sounding bell symbolizes the female principle of purity and is held in the left hand by the handle. This position symbolizes the union of the two attributes: Path and goal are one - unity of yin and Yang.
