Play Well-Known Melodies or Improvise Yourself!
The Sansula Melody belongs to the family of kalimbas and is as easy to play as a regular kalimba. The sound block is suspended free-floating in a thin membrane, which gives the sound more volume, vibrates longer and becomes softer. The instrument is developed and patented by the company HOKEMA.
The Sansula Melody has slightly larger dimensions compared to the Sansula Basic, thereby an even fuller, more powerful sound is achieved. The typical soft, overtone-rich sound and the wah wah effect of the Sansula family remain of course. The Sansula Melody combines the tonal range of the Kalimba B11 Melody with the sound characteristics of the Sansula.
On the Sansula Melody you can play many melodies even from well-known songs, monophonic or two-part, accompany yourself singing or improvise freely, but you should not drop it, because the thin membrane could tear.
If you are looking for sturdier versions for children or kindergartens, for example, we recommend the Sansula Renaissance or Sansula Deluxe models, which have a much sturdier membrane. Please note that the bag or case is not suitable for the Sansula Melody due to its larger dimensions.
The large Sansula Melody instructional book by Conny Sommer is in preparation and is expected to be released in August 2018.

The sansulas are available in 440 Hz and 432 Hz pitch. Since the 432 Hz Sansulas are ordered on demand, this results in a longer delivery time.
