Singing bowl for sound therapy work in the heart area & upper body

These frosted singing bowls with their appealing sound have been specially developed for professional use in sound massages and sound therapy. They produce long-lasting sounds and are a cost-effective alternative to established branded therapy singing bowls.

Each bowl is given special attention as part of an elaborate, handcrafted manufacturing process, whereby it is carefully tested for its harmonious sound spectrum . Only singing bowls that fulfil these high quality standards bear the ‘Dayasa Bowl’ brand seal.

The sound samples only approximate the sound of the singing bowls, as the sound differs somewhat from bowl to bowl and depends on many factors such as metal composition, wall thickness, temperature etc. A deviation in the sound of the singing bowl sent from the sound samples audible here is therefore not a defect.

Traditional Manufacturing in India

The singing bowls are made in small workshops in India under special conditions that are characterised by tradition and craftsmanship. The secret metal composition, which has been passed down through generations, gives each bowl its unique sound character.

First, a metal disc is placed in glowing heat. Skilful craftsmen then hammer out the bowl piece by piece with great dedication and strength. Numerous steps are necessary to achieve the perfect shape - a process that requires patience and passion.
The surface is then carefully polished by hand so that the bowl shines in all its splendour.
This loving handiwork and the changing metal composition ensure that each singing bowl is unique with its very own, enchanting Sound.

First, a metal disc is made to glow. Then, several men drive the shell out of the disc by hand, little by little, with great force and skill, using hammers. As usual in blacksmithing, many operations of annealing and driving are necessary until the final shape is achieved.
After smoothing the surface of the shell, it is extensively re-polished by hand, whereby it receives its beautiful luster.
Due to the handwork and the changing composition of the metal, each singing bowl never sounds exactly like the other.
