What makes the Kathmandu so special: Unlike many traditional bowls, it is not hammered, but cast from metal. This casting technique, maintained in small manufacturing shops in Nepal (Himalayan mountains), allows for a very uniform surface and a relatively thick bowl wall.

The bowl is then decorated by hand with a round tool: The characteristic dot decor is hammered into the surface at regular intervals. You can feel these small indentations with your hands – a unique tactile experience that immediately invites mindfulness. Three elegant decorative rings on the upper rim complete the loving design.
