The Zenko Equinox is an easy-to-play tongue drum made of
stainless steel that produces a
warm and smooth sound. It can be played by hand or with a mallet. Its diameter is 32 cm, the height 13 cm and the weight 2.8 kg.
Zenko is manufactured by the French company Metal Sounds. Here, industrial manufacturing is combined with traditional craftsmanship. The

Pitch
The Equinox pitch (G3 B3 C4 D4 E4 F#4 G4 B4 D5 ) is an original oriental scale in B minor (minor third D). In the centre is the supporting bass note G3. Even though this Equinox sequence corresponds to a minor scale in its structure, it contains aspects of the major scale and can therefore be played in different tunings.
The diversity of this scale makes it possible to play different styles of music. Musicians can give free rein to their creativity!
